What is the best thing about your course?
I learn about a trade and get a wage at the end of the month
Why did you choose your course?
I enjoyed studying Electrical Science in school. I always knew that I did not want an office-based job and knew several Electricians and, when I talked to them about their roles, I felt that it would be something I would enjoy
Why did you choose Themis?
My Employers already had a great relationship with Themis at Burnley College and its central location worked well for me.
What would you say to someone who was thinking about doing the course?
As long as you want to do well and aim high, you really can’t go wrong with an Apprenticeship. Your Employers are always keen to see you learn and pick up new skills.
What has been the biggest accomplishment whilst studying at LMC?
My biggest accomplishment is getting to the finals of the national SPARKS competition after winning the North West heats.
What do you hope to do when you have completed this course?
I would like to develop my career with my current employers and continue to improve and gain still more qualifications, such as my Test and Inspection qualification.
